Values Characters

Written by Theo Winter | Dec 31, 2009

The TTI Success Insights Motivators Assessment is designed to measure 6 core passions, values or world-views.

Below you will find some of the identities that you will commonly encounter among the 6 Motivators. If you score very high on the Theoretical, for example, you may find that you identify with all four characters... or you may only identify with one... or a little bit of each... or even none at all. These characters are not the only expressions of each motivator, but they exist as a starting point to help illustrate why some people are drawn to certain professions, and why certain people's world-views have a tendency to cross swords (such as The Theorist and The Pragmatist).

Of these 24 characters, try to think about:

  • Which one are you CLOSEST to?
  • Which one are you FURTHEST from?

Awareness of one's basic values is crucial to your work and career success, your professional and personal relationships, and your enjoyment of life.

Workplace Example:

What would Bruce and Sarah need to know about each other if they were paired together on a team?
